Description

WEIDU™ WD-600 Silicone Waterproof Roof Coating is a one-component, moisture-curing silicone-based waterproof coating specially developed for exposed roofing applications. It is solvent-free, non-corrosive, and provides excellent elongation and waterproofing performance.

The cured coating exhibits outstanding resistance to UV exposure, extreme temperatures, weathering, acids, alkalis, oil, and water. It also offers excellent adhesion, compatibility, and electrical insulation properties, making it an ideal long-term waterproofing solution for exterior building protection.

Applications

Surface Preparation & Joint Treatment

  • The substrate surface must be clean, sound, and dry. Loose particles, dust, laitance, oil, grease, and other contaminants must be removed prior to application.
  • For cracks wider than 3 mm, fill and seal the cracks with an MS polymer sealant before applying the coating. Ensure the sealant has fully cured before proceeding.

Application Method

  • If dilution is required, a coating-to-thinner ratio of 10:4 (by weight) is recommended.
  • WD-600 may be applied by brush, roller, or spray equipment.
  • Two coats are generally recommended to achieve optimal waterproofing performance.
  • Recommended total dry film thickness: approximately 1.0 mm.
  • Recoat interval: 4–12 hours, depending on ambient temperature and environmental conditions.

Recommended Coverage

  • Recommended application rate: not less than 1.5–1.6 kg/m².
